    On the 60th anniversary of the sit-ins, I reflect back on my time at the International Civil Rights Center and Museum in Greensboro, NC. It where hundreds of brave students & activists ushered in desegregation through peaceful protest.

    After the protests settled, some of the original 4 men had difficulty finding jobs in b/c they were considered troublemakers by the white establishment. Some moved away & others stayed to craft the best life they could. We are indebted to their sacrifices 🙏🏾.

    60 years ago today, 4 courageous Black students launched the sit-ins to desegregate lunch counters in . Nicknamed the Greensboro Four or the A&T Four, they placed their orders at ’s & peacefully waited to be served, which did not happen. (1/)
