Closing out the press conference, : “There is nothing moderate about being cruel to people because they don’t have the same passport we do… We can do better than this. We can respect the dignity of immigrants. We can build a fair and orderly and just immigration system.”

There’s a reason why Oregon had the highest voter turnout rate in the November 2022 election: vote by mail works! It’s simple, secure, and lets folks vote on their own time. We should expand this system nationwide!

Don't worry about it. If people stop getting vaccines, there will be no way to treat all the unvaccinated people who get sick, and the "vaccine injured" will be a drop in the bucket.

When the Money system collapses, so will the hospitals & there will be no way to treat the vaccine injured. World Bank will tell us we have to let the injured people die.
Nearly 30 million Americans still don’t have health insurance. That’s unacceptable.

My dad, who just turned 82, is COVID positive.
Without the vaccine, I'd be a total wreck and worried.
With the vaccine...I told him he is going to have a few rough days but otherwise much like the flu.
The mRNA vaccines are a scientific blessing. Get vaccinated.
While we increase our military spending to deal with threats that may or may not happen, we do nothing about a current deadly threat in this country that kills 76,000 people/year, the U.S. healthcare system. We need #MedicareForAll now.

This week, I introduced a new bill to help more kids get no-cost meals at school without bombarding their families with paperwork. This will not only strengthen our workforce of tomorrow by improving student achievement, attendance, and behavior; it will save schools money.

If a surgeon denied or tried to prescribe psychiatric medications, they could lose their medical license. This is not allowed in a medical setting, so how come we allow health insurance companies to deny care this way? We need to ban this.
Quote Tweet
I’m a psychiatrist. My patient’s request for ADHD medication was denied by insurance, because, it was. I appealed appropriately. My appeal was denied after review by a peer.
The peer was a surgeon. BUT WAIT, they assured me another peer reviewed it too. He was…also a surgeon.

I wish people would realize what a big scam health insurance is and how bad it is for economic growth. That is one of many reasons why we need #MedicareForAll.
Quote Tweet
Honestly an underrated part of regulation is saving companies from themselves. It gets framed as an inevitable tradeoff between economic growth and consumer protection - which might be the case on some margins - but doing scams is actually bad for economic growth in the long term

Let me know if you have any plan to fight inflation or just want to complain about it. The best way to fight inflation now would be price controls and an excess profit tax. Since I doubt you have a plan, let me know when you support my plan.
