As a woman all I need to do is accuse a man of assaluting me, he will be, at the very least, arrested and charged. There certainly are women in many poorer countries that need help and equality. I’m not a victim and neither are most women living in the west.

If a man reports being assaulted by a woman he is most often laughed at, ignored or told to “man up”. Images of men being assaulted by women are portrayed as funny in tv and movies. Please don’t tell me that women aren’t being heard.

women are being heard more and more everyday in certain countries, and that's great! that doesn't mean we should stop being heard though. and if we don't fight to help women all over the world then nobody will. and supporting women doesn't mean you don't support men :-)

I dunno if I can agree with this. Look what happened in the Brock Turner case (just looking at a high profile, fairly recent example). All the evidence was there, it was reported right away and there were two (male) witnesses.

Sadly there will always be exceptions to anything. In the case you mention I would imagine there wasn’t enough evidence to convict. However, if the idea is that women aren’t being listened to, they clearly are. If the man is charged, arrested, brought before a senate committee...

My wife's friends before they go out on dates send her all the info on the guy just in case they end up murdered. It never occurred to me that women have to do that.

It’s awful that we live in a world where it’s necessary to be thinking about being murdered so often for so many people. If nothing else the least others could do is not invalidate others for fear that isn’t unfounded. I’m so sorry that all of you, and anyone needs to do that...

Agree with equal rights blah blah blah but... This is kinda sexist. Men should and often are fearful of at least walking alone at night particularly if you know the stats which is that most victims of crime are men, particularly violent crime. 1/2pic.twitter.com/y7IRa2MOyG

2/2 with crime on the rise everyone should be worried not just women. And although I sympathize with women it should be noted that men arent invincible at night and are often victims. It's a crime issue and a people issue. Not just a women's issue
