    If you're on an urban expressway in the US, near the center of almost any city, you can be pretty sure that you're traveling over what used to be a black neighborhood. Freeway building & urban renewal were tools of ethnic cleansing.

    Why do American newspapers have live-updating news feeds about a virus that has killed zero Americans, but no constantly-updated feed about drivers killing 100 Americans a day? Should we call it Corollavirus? Would that help?
