Wow this Elliott Page thing is really highlighting the disdain a lot of “gender critical” ppl have for ppl navigating gender dysphoria and my block button is getting a WORKOUT.

I think people appreciate it’s real, but that slicing bits of your body off might not be right solution. Also that giving unhappy children the suggestion that surgery/lifelong medication may not be the answer to their problems. That’s not disdain, it’s love.
