NEW: Gov. Ron DeSantis says he wants a “Paycheck Protection” bill passed.
He says it prevents government from deducting union dues from teacher paychecks. Instead, teachers would need to write checks to the unions.
“That maximizes freedom to choose"

DESANTIS: “First of all, you totally, you do not have to join teachers union. But if you do, the government, we don’t want to play a role in deducting anybody’s money so you write every month for the dues and you do it that way"

Nope ! Good catch. He only picks on educators. He’s a fraud on this issue.

Public employees no longer have to be members of a union if they choose not to be

Now do the same with income taxes and see how fast the people finally start to realize how much their tax burden actually is and demand more government accountability.

More union busting garbage from DeSantis. All kinds of deductions are taken from our checks automatically that we have no say over. In this case - joining the union is a choice. This is not an issue. It’s petty pandering.

I don't want anything deducted from my paycheck. So thank you for making an argument that taxation is theft.

Why should the state's accountants and auditors have to worry with anyone's union dues. Definitely not good use of my tax dollars.
