    Helping each other in a time of crisis is a fundamental part of friendship. We shouldn't lose sight of that now. Friends will help us cope. We just have to be more creative about how we help and interact.

    Count me in on the work of finding a way forward toward a better society. That work can include protests but it MUST include political involvement at the federal, state and local level. We need leaders who are responsive to these concerns.

    Like everyone, I’ve been shaken by the death of George Floyd and so many other Black people at the hands of police. I’m deeply moved by the enormity, emotion and power of the peaceful protests and heartbroken by the continuing injustices that inspired them.
