do anything to help even if she tried. Because these young men - who probably just had low-self-esteem and on the fence before - get brainwashed by this toxic community dragging each other down into this idea that women are evil, sub-human creatures.

For the "incel"s, it's a self-fulfilling prophecy. If one of them start to experience success, they pull him down like crabs in a bucket. They believe that any man who has healthy relationships with women just hasn't been taken advantage of *yet*.

By the time that kid gets brainwashed, he's never met women as fellow humans - he's entrenched in a community that discusses (jokingly?) human rights violations against women. We just have to hope that oddly behaving men we come across haven't been indoctrinated into that.

But when it's still early on, that kid might listen to his guy friends. He will take them seriously. Women being "nice" to a guy acting creepy because she fears for her life won't help.

Women going on dates with creepy-acting men won't help either. If he does anything to her during this "charity" work, people - even the law, perhaps - will still consider it her fault for putting herself in that situation.
