@Celestalon Enchant Item: Empower - use scaling tech to raise ilevel to X (unique equip). Mats like other profs starter raid gear.

@Celestalon would like to see Way of the monk give Haste or Mastery vs. Haste or +autoattack damage. weapon becomes playstyle choice.

@IshayuG so you can tackle harder quests, right? Sounds like three-manning dungeons you barely qualify for as a strat for power leveling.

@IshayuG in vanilla, this is what all mages I know did... do all quests to over-level so that you could survive being glass cannon.

@IshayuG without that scripting change your're still left with fractured storylines that if you finish off leave you over-leveled next zone

@IshayuG @LuxMordacai scaling them is easy. Not the same thing as turning 30 odd quests in to 10 that tell the same story.

@IshayuG I think only real solution would be to nix leveling altogether and use scaling tech to keep quest difficulty constant. not popular

@IshayuG sure, but ever xpac, would mean going back re-scripting quests to give something like - 1 zone : 1 lvl : 1 subplot : 10 quests

@Ghostcrawler @EJedi42 if haste/crit/mastery are close enough together, I get my choice of style back.

@IshayuG can't have 90 levels of quests require use of all abilities in order to succeed and not take months to end game for new players.

@IshayuG @LuxMordacai Leveling experience is story-telling. As story gets longer, takes more time to play through unless made easier.

@IshayuG I do miss it though. I thought ZA/ZG were great as heroics. I don't think they were very popular though.

@IshayuG given that each expansion gives a large number of new quests, I don't think you can do it w/o blocking endgame for many.
