I don’t care that Lola Bunny is dressed less sexy in Space Jam 2 but I am unbelievably exhausted by the idea that the way you communicate that a female character is to be taken seriously is by removing her boobs

Truly do not care about your opinions about whether or not rabbits should have tits, this is less about one specific character and more about exhaustion with a pattern of declaring that this new, revamped character is Feminist! because she's gone down a few cup sizes.

My D cups boobs may actually be the reason I am a feminist. Def was the reason I faced a lot more street harassment then my peers and why I developed a real resentment about places women couldn’t safely be in.

They cannot imagine how framing/lensing, treatment by others, and character self-expression could possibly serve the role of desexualizing/de-objectifying a character when those are the cues and narrative language that communicate these things in the first place.
