I mean, emphatically #notallmen of course, so don’t get your boxer briefs in a twist, but a lot of “I love and respect powerful women!!!” men seem to actually want to partner with either a mommy/maid or a personal cheering squad (or all of the above), and... just admit it, guys.

I’ve made my peace with this, so it doesn’t actually hurt me anymore, but it was really difficult to spend years of my life working to be better and smarter and more accomplished only to realize I’d basically made myself undateable in the process
