I agree. Don’t like the language of fight, win, lose when it comes to . Framing it this way is not only wrong, it under-weights quality of life when it comes to medical choices . “She wasn’t fighting cancer. It wasn’t a battle. It didn’t beat her. She just died”.

The Irish leaders’ debate is really quite shocking. The three leaders have a detailed grasp of complex welfare and tax issues, they are polite and courteous, they admit mistakes, they say sorry. They might even be largely honest. Why is all that possible in Ireland but not here?

This is a bit like the "Lowest Growth in China for 30 years" headline. It can simultaneously be a high cash number and a low percentage rate if the base number is significantly higher.

I also want to know about the radicalisation program - how do they get there in the first place and are there no effective interventions earlier on?

    1. Why does an extremist Islamist promoting terrorism only get a 3 year prison sentence? 2. Why does he still only serve half of that sentence? 3. Why do the authorities let him out even though they believe he is still dangerous? 4. And repeat. Again and again.
