@umichmedicine please hurry and get the ICU staff, residents, and attendings vaccinated. I cannot fathom anything more demoralizing than seeing all these photos of our colleagues getting immunized while we wait. The stairwells are getting pretty full.
I posted this last night before I went to bed. Had no idea it would generate so much attention. All you healthcare workers, custodians, food service workers...etc., keep posting pics of your Band-Aids. The rest of the world needs to follow your lead. I love every last one of you.

I’ve been known to put my head down on rounds and just cry. My best and worst quality. Sometimes there is nothing else to do. But a few deep breaths and hopefully a vaccine in coming days... We’re all in this together. 
I feel so awful for you folks. There’s nothing I feel I can do to help. I thank you for your service to the country.

Dr. friend here in LA got her shot today. A relief for her family, as she's working the front line in a local hospital and has a speciality in infectious diseases. Hope you can get yours soon too.
