The City of Chico wants to put the fire evacuees in shelters and are pulling services to make them leave. Bad winter weather is predicted and the City wants the people out of the weather I don’t know why people think it’s WM, but it’s not and WM has been very accommodating

So then is the City of Chico getting them into housing and shelters? They have nowhere else to go or they would have already gone. Rain is coming next week. The tents wouldn't be practical in the long run anyway.

Yes, more shelters have been opened in Butte County and Chico is providing transportation and allowing pet accommodations at the Butte County Fairgrounds
