#PixarOnward is essentially Pixar’s ABOUT TIME. Yes, it’ll make you ugly cry (especially hard-hitting for those who’ve lost someone dear). It’s a heartrending love letter to the magic of rediscovery & latent powers our legacies hold. A percolating, magical potion of humor & heart

I lost my father when I was very young, there is no way I could see this in a crowded theatre. Just based on the trailers, this will be o e for Disney+ for me 🙌

I’m so sorry for your loss. I lost my mom as an adult and it’s still the absolute worst. I imagine this film will benefit young kids dealing with loss to healthily work their emotions in a safe space. On the flip side, there lots of “silly” stuff to help reset your compass.

Wait, it's out? I only just heard about it last week. I thought they just announced it.

Did they top the first five minutes of Up? Is that even possible?

For me, I felt it was deeply personal having felt some of the similar emotions expressed.

What about the comparisons to Full Metal Alchemist?

Haven’t seen it. But judging by the summary on IMDB, maybe just the extreme basic ingredients (dead parent, brothers, quest, spell gone awry) could bear a resemblance.

There’s one scene in particular that just absolutely flattened me like an emotional bulldozer. Like in a “how the hell did they know - and know how to verbalize - this?!”
