    The industrial infrasture was designed to allow a cadence of up to 11 cores per year. With the 🚀launch market being what it is, this looked increasingly optimistic. Now that Soyuz-in-Kourou is dead this additional capacity should come in handy.

    An important thread. Many of us are saying the same thing - we need scalable long-term measures for at-risk and refugee academics. This is neither the first nor the last time we face this moral imperative and we can no longer ignore it.

    European academic community is rallying to and in particular with their fellow academics and students from Ukraine. International solidarity is a fundamental pillar of academic life but does not receive enough support from public EU authorities. A thread 👇

    The German health minister (and an epidemiologist) expresses frustration at political posturing over COVID restrictions.

    1) Ministerpräsidenten Wüst und Söder beklagen den Wegfall der Schutzmassnahmen. Dabei hatten sie den Wegfall ALLER Massnahmen bei der letzten MPK ab Montag selbst beschlossen. Ohne das von mir vorgelegte Gesetz wäre es ab Montag GENAU dazu zu kommen.
