Real privilege to be promoted to the Shadow Cabinet as Shadow Environment Secretary. We need bolder and swifter action to cut carbon emissions and protect vulnerable habitats. I will be doing all I can to keep the climate crisis on the Westminster political agenda – mjesto: Houses of Parliament

  6. Jeremy is right to go on and the sacking of the former Tory MP who was leading it. The climate emergency is real and the laid back approach of Ministers to COP26 is worrying. We need the conference in Glasgow to be a success. Come on PM, sort it out.

I do hope today Plymouth’s Tory MPs will vote with to scrap the So-called “fairer funding review”. If the review goes ahead, city council stands to lose at least £8m in government funding - 11% of the adult social care budget. It would be devastating.

  9. It’s good to see maritime patrol capabilities return after the Tories foolishly scrapped the Nimrod patrol aircraft. Putting a JCB through those planes was defence vandalism and replacing them has been a costly lesson for the country

  10. My Parliamentary staff team are brilliant. They work so hard and are the backbone of my office. They help thousands of people each year and tonight I’m so proud that Karrie won Labour Caseworker of the Year at the Parliamentary Staff Awards. Well done!

  11. With the brilliant and innovative team at the best bar none awards in the House of Lords. Plymouth has won the national award two years in a row and this year is up for the most innovative scheme award. They do superb work all year round – mjesto: Cholmondeley Room

  13. MPs are voting on the NHS Funding Bill. The first vote is about parity of funding between physical and mental health. Conservative MPs expect to defeat our amendment to get parity in reality.

  15. If Sky can hit net zero by 2030 why does the Conservative Government need 20 extra years to hit it for the country? I want to see net zero by 2030 and leadership from Sky, businesses and local councils underlines it can and should be done.
