This builds on our work to support rough sleepers into long-term accommodation, with 90% of rough sleepers known to councils at the start of the pandemic having now been offered safe accommodation.

And our commitment to provide 6,000 long-term, safe homes for vulnerable rough sleepers. This is backed by £160 million this year and will support many people currently in emergency accommodation into more sustainable, long-term housing.
