This will help councils provide support. But you can't solve homelessness without homes - the govt needs to invest in much more social housing at low rents. Without homes they can afford to stay in, more and more people will just end up homeless again

Sounds like a good start. Homelessness is a complex issue and won’t be solved by just providing housing, it needs innovative solutions to the complex underlying issues
