Google Pixel did really well and wasn't successfully pwned at mobile #Pwn2Own. We can't say that about iPhone. Apparently Adrian was right.pic.twitter.com/wUqFSvKQ3p

You can find it in targeted devices here https://www.thezdi.com/blog/2017/8/24/mobile-pwn2own-2017-returns-to-tokyo …. It isn't mentioned in the pictures because it wasn't exploited.

Reading the reports from day one, day two, it reads like the pixel wasn't even targeted by anyone

So Apple is going to fix all of the reported bugs and thus improve security. We can't say that about Android.

lol actually pixels are patched monthly, so we can say it for sure. Android != pixel tho, but the tweet is about pixels

Don’t think Android is more sec. per se, the problem imho is availability on older phones https://www.statista.com/statistics/271774/share-of-android-platforms-on-mobile-devices-with-android-os/ … VS https://data.apteligent.com/ios/

Agree. The issue is even major vendors stop support after one year while Apple supports for years. Some Androids are born old

I use an iPhone and I feel like it’s just slowly gone down in quality since Jobs died. QA, design, etc has all lost its edge.

If you can actually get patches, no reason they wouldn't be similar. But getting patched is the trick.

There are some security improvements in Android O for Pixel/Pixel2. But this seems no one try to target on pixel.
