This is actually cute. They have no idea how to do it but they don’t stop trying to figure it out. The picking up the handle to “reset it” is adorable!

That was my favorite part too. It's so funny to watch kids figure them out. In St Louis there's a Museum of the Telephone and it's my eight-year-old's favorite place. I brought him there during summer when I'd run out of ideas for fun things to do but he *loves* it

Look how they're problem solving and working through trial and error to figure it out. They're learning, adapting, and progressing. I'm sure this was uploaded to make fun of kids, but with no instruction on ancient (yes I said ancient) tech, they're doing quite well. I'm proud.
