Reading “The Richest Man Who Ever Lived“ and thought I‘d demo my iOS to flow - read in Marvin, split-screen with Roam, copy, link, highlight, done!

So I actually still keep all my sources in a BibTex file so that when I create a pdf all the sources get inserted and formatted correctly. No way to do that with Roam. I have played with keeping the raw bibtex entry in the Roam note, but not sure if I'll continue doing that.

this is my current approach. note-title is the citekey of the paper, information gets saved as attributes (author:: ). But doing this in Roam vs. EndNote doesn't really help - you still want things to compile automatically, and Roam can't do that (yet?)

Experimenting with using transclusion as a habit reinforcer. Create a , then embed all current rules in the daily note and review each morning.

Not exactly a shanty or Irish Folk but I was reminded of how we performed "Do You Fear the Wind" in school. Such a great poem as well Do you fear the force of the wind, The slash of the rain? /c

And after hours of searching, I found the best video on how Decibels work - both in the real world as well as digital audio workstations: It's from 2013. By a DJ with 30k subscribers on YT. God I love the Internet.

The trailer for Taken is so great as well. A whole story in a minute and 51 seconds.
