Do you guys remember the Mario Factory patent? https://patents.google.com/patent/US6115036A/en … Well thanks to the recent Satellaview uploads: We know it exists in some shape or form, it was called the "Game Processor". It makes games for the SNES.

By the way here's a link to the dump: https://project.satellaview.org/snes/gpc4m.zip Gotta note that it won't work properly without hacking, you will just get a black screen.

Context about that Game Processor RAM Cassette dump: this was dumped in 2008 by d4s. At that time, we had no idea of where the Game Processor was used for. All I'm doing is sharing an old dump that you can find (with some difficulty, I admit) on the web.

I have heard of dead batteries of other RAM Cassettes so I expect this dump to be the only way to understand Mario Factory until we somehow find the Game Processor hardware itself and the Mario Factory TOOL software disks.

One thing I can easily tell you is that the sound engine is N-SPC. This means Mario Factory can probably produces music data that's actually somewhat compatible with a lot of games, which is interesting.

日本語で返答しますがこれがRAM CassetteからdumpされたものであればWebから削除するべきです。 このゲームは授業で作成された物と思われますので学生はこれが一般公開されることは望まれないと思われます。

Sorry, but I don't want to delete the dump. It was originally released in 2008. This is the only dump that can let us take a look at how the Game Processor works, I want to know more about this hardware.
