Loads of camp songs, but none that are nationalistic or patriotic, if that's what you mean?

Camp songs that aren’t known in America? They had a bunch that I’d never heard of. Most were about America but not all
-
Most I know were from Girl Guides, plenty on this site:https://www.ggsw.org.uk/girlguiding/guides/guide-song-book/ …
-
I’ll have to ask the kids if they recognise any of them. I only know about half on that site but I was never a guide
-
Also I did not know about that last verse of Kookaburra

I don’t think brits do the camp fire stuff. We sometimes sit in tents while it rains outside.

I honestly think there’s just a different relationship to nationalism in the UK. The shame of colonialism/the Empire hangs heavier over Britain, so post-1950 we don’t really do all that

It's an Irish one, but the Rattlin' Bog is something of a standard around my family campfires?

Did you ever go to Brownies/Girl Guides? Used to sing a lot of songs there, like There was a Crazy Moose, Little Rabbit Foo Foo and such
-
We also had one that was more of a chant, 'The cow kicked Fred in the head in the Barn', that's always easy for meeting new people (if strangely menacing when sung by kids) http://www.scoutorama.com/a-cow-kicked-fred-song …
