A friend sent me this and now I can’t think of anything else

I am horrified, yet demand to know more. Did... did you ever find out whose cat you buried?

Driving home with parents. Spotted black & white cat lying in the road. My dad’s Like ‘oh God is that our cat?’. I saw a flash of fur but couldn’t look. My mum scoured the village to find my sister who was devastated and refused to come home. When she finally did, so did our cat

Of course, a black and white cat was indeed buried in the back garden by that point.
All this pales in comparison to when an elderly business associate of my dad’s informed him that his ex wife, my mum, was dead, confusing her with someone else. That phone call is one I’ll not forget. Luckily I managed to get hold of her eventually while she was shopping in BHS.

We did that too... our tabby went missing, then a friend said they'd seen a dead tabby on the high road. We went and stopped the traffic, retrieved the body, and buried him with lots of tears under his favourite tree.
Needless to say he walked in full of life the next morning

This happens more often than you would think. I have a friend with similar cat burial story. They were sad for a few days and when their cat returned my friend said, "Omg, I think we have a pet sematary in our back yard." 😂
Similar story. My flat mate told me my cat has been run over but not to look in the box. Took it to my mums, dug a hole in the garden. Mum opens the box and informs me it’s not my cat. Get home, Panda is just chilling obviously in the garden.

This is a glorious and hilarious story even though as a cat owner I’m somewhat alarmed...
