Are any left wing 'influencer' twitter profiles openly backing ? I'm thinking twitter lefties with big followings rather than celebrities/public figures. I'm genuinely interested in why they will put him first on the ballot. Please keep any replies respectful 🙏

She is very impressive. If all the candidates are so supportive of the last manifesto, unable to find any real fault, then in effect they're all "continuity candidates". The only question then is; are they all genuine or are any saying whatever it takes just to get elected?

  5. I keep thinking that MAYBE, just maybe, we should be pragmatic and elect Keir Starmer as Leader, if only to have the best chance of getting rid of this shocking Tory shower, but then I watch the hustings and it's RLB that impresses me most with the content of her answers.....

2/2 Corbyn is the lump of clay. The next LOTO will form the clay pot. The third leader will glaze and fire the pot - the consolidation and full implementation of the policies and structural changes required for the movement to flourish in society.

  11. Folks need to stop saying the Democrats can't run on the economy because "it is doing so well." Running against this kind of grotesque system isn't just morally right, it's a winning strategy..

  13. Our policies to bring rail, mail & water under public control are popular. They didn't cause our election defeat. It's great that Labour leadership candidates say they'll keep them. But we must go much further & hardwire them into Labour's constitution.

Wasn't planned this way, but feels somehow poignant that today I completed applications for my kids to have Irish passports, in place of their current British ones. Lived in the UK since I was 6 years old but never felt less welcome.

It wasn't Labour's policies that lost us the General Election. It was being between a rock and a hard place on brexit and the demonising of Corbyn personally by the media. Whoever wins out of and needs to Agree? RT
