We’ve been in the country for 3 days now and though I’m looking forward to being back in the city, being able to walk for miles without encountering a single soul has been welcome. When there's nothing else to be aware of, you become aware of yourself.

Buy as and when you need, tailor or combine your next meal according to those leftovers you have. A respect for food is a respect for life, think about it!

I was going to hashtag ‘say no to food wastage 2018’ but I’ve been saying no to food wastage for some time now and really urge you to do the same. Don’t over-cook, don’t over-buy, and don’t let the broccoli/peppers/beetroot sit and rot in the back of your veggie drawer.

If you want to leap tall buildings in a single bound, it may not happen right away, but I’m pretty sure with enough persistence, it can happen. Pretty sure.

Big changes look easy in the movies, the drab librarian lets down her hair and is femme fatale, underneath the dull trench coat sits a superhero's costume. In real life, of course, monumental movements only happen when you commit to making small changes first.

Sore and stretched and happy and warm and grateful and more than just content.
