Democracy isn’t a spectator sport, which means social studies shouldn’t be sidelined. I taught high school social studies because I wanted to help students become more informed, engaged citizens. Thanks to for this report!

Our Education First Plan does three things: It puts our kids first, supports those who show up for our children every day and ensures that our schools have the resources they need to do what we have asked them to do. It’s time to get to work, and it’s time to make it happen.
