Nah---there's a very real argument that Musk isn't really about preserving the spark of consciousness, since he clearly disregards the consciousness of non-human life here on Earth. He's a human chauvinist first and foremost.

He does alot more than you or me
While we tweet anonymously chatting shit & moaning as if we are shining examples of humanity
Hes actually doing the work, you realize how revolutionary reusable rockets are? & this guys done it
1
Lol he hasn't made a reusable rocket... he aspires to make one. Also, I give his engineers far more credit than Marketer-in-Chief. Worshiping individuals like musk that have the potential to do more harm to the world than 99.99% of people never ended well.

& ironically you talk about worshipping elon yet have just said you have followed him closely for a decade & consumed any media he puts out
& nothing bad has happened to you or anyone
So maybe it will end well
1
Maybe---but I follow all sorts of people I don't like, why does that have to do with anything or is relevant? Being informed is not a sin. Again I like the work his engineers do---he's not an engineer or a scientist. He's a CEO and PR person.
1
Because you specifically said 'worshipping individuals who have the potential to harm the planet'
I dont even think genuine worshippers of elon have followed him for 10 years
So im using that, to see if you actually mean what you said about harming the planet
1
Again I don't see how any of this is relevant. Being informed is not a sin. Taking interest in technology is not a sin. Not giving all of the credit to an egomanical CEO that steals other people's ideas is not a sin.
1
I think everyone realises that its not the CEO's of any company who actually puts in the hard to work make things happen
This isnt new, but i cant give credit to the thousands what work at tesla can i, i can credit elon in a way which also credifs everyone under him

Like how famouse generals dont actually get involved in the fighting, but they get praised in recognition that its the army on the ground what foes the heavy lifting
Or like how people praise football coaches when its the players who are doing the work
1
Yeah, but on balance that's not what people ever do with regard to Elon. Nobody ever speaks about his employees---all of which live in brutal working conditions, without unions, and without real job security.
2
I guess thats one area i could criticoze elon then, im not sure of thats true or not, but if it is then i can start to see your point
Its just the work hes pushing forward i think is genuinly something that needs to be set in motion, which he has, whether that motion takes 1000y
