Great to see
@LizzieRDaly enjoying some of Wales’ spectacular dunes! Without the sand’s ability to shift, dune environments are unable to support some of their most unique species
The #DynamicDunescapes project will restore and maintain UK dunes

Radical action at
#COP26 is vital to bring#climatechange under control. Banning petrol diesel & hybrid cars from 2035 is welcome but we must go further, faster across the economy. We must get in the#ClimateAction fast-lane at home if we're to be the global leaders we aim to be.https://twitter.com/COP26/status/1224618642475814912 …

#Snowdrops thread > early appearance & dazzling petals make them a firm fave with nature lovers & wildflower watchers. But despite their popularity, their charms remain unheralded. 1) Their Latin name, Galanthus nivalis, roughly translates as ‘snowy milk flower.’@BBCCountryfilepic.twitter.com/5ii0z62161

The movement of dunes is actually quite important. Esp. for rare species such as the Green tiger beetle that cannot exist in more stable/overgrown dunes & needs bare sand for their survival. We must restore balance in Wales’ 56 beautiful dune systems!
