Right, these @remainvoter.com lot. I’ve seen the strategic voting recommendation for my area. I’d like to follow it BUT I’d also like someone with credentials confirm these guys are legit. And by credentials I mean someone with a longer standing presence in the Remain campaign.

Hello Rachael
@markpalexander started Remain Voter. He was one of the lonely Remain voices on Twitter post referendum. Remain Voter is non party political and are largely numerate grassroots remainers like@oicheryl who is an opensource advocate and part of the@linuxfoundation1 reply 4 retweets 16 likes -

I asked Mark & yourselves recently why you recommend a CUK vote in the South East. I need an explanation before I lend my vote to CUK from Greens. I'm NOT going to jeopardise the Greens seat for CUK's benefit and I DON'T want to split the remain vote further. So please, explain?

See,
@remainvoter, people are confused by your message. Keith - if you’re intending to vote for Green DO NOT CHANGE YOUR VOTE. The recommendation for CUK was for people who hadn’t already decided, trying to pick up enough swing to pick up one more seat after transfer of votes.1 reply 0 retweets 2 likes -

From my point of view, it makes me glad not to have to compromise on my Green support.I'm still confused by the advice though. If Greens have sufficient support for 1 seat, doesn't it make sense to increase still their support and gain a second seat, when CUK are polling SO low?

It's because the increase in Lib dem vote needed to get another seat is far greater than the increase in CHUK to get one seat. I have looked at the assumptions and they seem fair. I have looked at the maths and it makes sense. I will vote CHUK tomorrow.

How WERE you going to vote - and if for a remain party, where are the guarantees that you're not jeopardising THEIR seats? This is the very concern Molly Scott Cato is expressing in her region I need FAR more convincing.

Hi Keith, I was going to vote LD but they are polling at 17% and need a 5% boost to get a third seat. CHUK are polling at 4% and need a 3% boost to get one seat.
