Thank your for the inputs. However, outperforming other labels or correct perceptions of food items are not the same as persistent changes in daily behavior in purchasing & consuming food in vulnerable low income groups who experience major choice pressures on their time & income

The proposed EU Nutri-Score informing consumers about nutritional value is far from perfect, as it gives relative ratings within food groups. Moreover, how relevant is it to low income groups whose nutrition status is associated with poverty, stress & insufficient time to cook?

Politicians must - use inclusive language to avoid polarization through simplistic dichotomies, e.g rural vs urban, or lower & middle/upper class - apply words that don’t create fears & lack of perspective. Suggesting unfounded scarcity creates divisions between have & have nots

Obese (BMI over 30) is not the same as overweight, & a much smaller fraction. Calories supplied are based on gross production figures, including losses, so averages over world population from the different sources of data are not comparable, I am afraid.
