We are all horrified to watch as the iconic Notre Dame Cathedral burns. For 800 years the cathedral has stood not only for history and faith, but as a symbol of France. Nos pensées vont au peuple de France

I'm excited about our 2020 campaign, but to reach voters we need to update our website & produce marketing materials.
We're close to making these buys, but still $1,850 short of today's goal. Can you contribute $50, $100 or $250 to help close the gap?

It is disappointing that any of our Representatives would vote against this act. The American people and the people of TX-3 understand that the safety of women should come before special interests. Our own was among those who voted against reauthorization.

In honor of National Women's Month, we honor Amelia Boynton Robinson who was a leader of the voting rights movement in Selma, Alabama. We must honor the lives of those that fought for voting rights for ALL AMERICANS by using our vote as our voice!

Our opponent in this race has millions in his war chest, including donations from PACs and special interests, so we need YOUR help to make our grassroots campaign successful!
Will you help us close the gap on our midnight deadline?

Over 60% of Texans oppose use of emergency funds to expand the border wall. Which Texas reps had the courage to stand in favor of blocking emergency funding and executive overreach? Most (nay votes) are out of step with their fellow Texans:

The nonpartisan Congressional Budget Office projected an estimated $11 Billion was lost during the shutdown. $3 Billion of that wont be recovered
We have to stop playing partisan games using people's lives & the economy as pawns. We need to work together

Let us honor the victims and survivors today and always hold close to these lessons from our past. #HolocaustMemorialDay

When we look at Auschwitz we see the end of the process. It's important to remember that the Holocaust actually did not start from gas chambers. This hatred gradually developed from words, stereotypes & prejudice through legal exclusion, dehumanisation & escalating violence.

Thankfully the government shutdown has come to a temporary end, and over 800,000 federal workers will be going back to work. Our government should never be held hostage over a wall that most Americans don’t support, and a clean budget must be passed in the coming weeks.

While we see the direct effect of 800,000 furloughed workers, everyday people are being impacted as well. Individuals who rely on subsidized housing are unable to afford rent and low-income individuals who rely on SNAP cannot feed their families.

Democrats and Republicans agree — we need border security, but punishing 800,000 people over a disagreement on a wall, that by all measurable standards will have little to no impact on our national security, is not the right approach.
