For you engineers, would actively flight testing rockets in stages be more motivating than working 10-yrs for just one full up horizontal engine test before flight? As a matter of public policy, it seems foolhardy to spend $20B w/out more test flights & not sure it reduces risk.

Assuming Sen. Nelson is nominee, keeping space policy intact at does seem to be the intent. Once the whole cat is out of the bag, this will likely need lots more $ Biden has set out to dismantle Trump’s legacy, except in one area: Space

If you know George Abbey, you know this is a well researched & considered paper. He believes the Biden administration should reconsider the need for the SLS during its annual budget review. His compelling case is worth reading.

This public poll found space research & exploration ranked 25th of 26 priorities. The public's space priorities are climate & asteroid research on top, landing people on Moon & Mars last - the inverse of 's budget. Is this disconnect sustainable?
