As a lifelong OC resident, I'm excited to appear on the ballot today asking for your vote to serve on the RSCCD. Education is the future, it made all the difference in my life and I want to continue to forge a path forward for students who, like me, just need an opportunity.

#WorldTeachersDay:I'd like to recognize all of the outstanding educators in our community who dedicate their lives to this noble profession. Thank you for your service, your impact is immeasurable. A special shoutout to my mom, who spent 17 years as an elementary school teacher.

With a heavy heart, I mourn the loss of one of the most extraordinary women I've had the pleasure to meet. RBG was everything you would imagine her to be; smart, kind, and witty. Her legacy is one of advocacy, grit, and public service. She was and will forever be an inspiration.

In consultation with my family, I have made the difficult decision to step out of the 2020 race for OC Board of Supervisors. While I will not be serving In that office, I will remain actively engaged in our community because this is where my heart lies.

You supported my first run for Congress in '96 and, against all odds, we turned a Red seat Blue. In the years that followed, you stood with me as I fought to bring infrastructure projects to OC, reform and strengthen our US military, and secure our world-class water supply system

We can’t continue living on like this. Hoping everyone affected by this find a safe place to stay. #KincaidFire

The #KincadeFire is now the biggest California wildfire of 2019 ⬇️ - More than 100,000 residents remain under mandatory evacuation orders - 75,415 acres burned - 15% contained - 124 structures destroyed & 90,000 more (including 80,000 homes) threatened trib.al/xWf3F1P

We can’t be silent about the this. Children in our County are increasingly self-harming and we are not providing proper treatment for them. We need to ensure that the money being granted to the Board is spent to help our most vulnerable population!

The Orange City Council approved the Santiago Creek Development and has refused to hear the voices of Orange residents. This development is dangerous and will only add to traffic congestion, flooding issues and fire hazards. It is time for a referendum!

With 2020 just around the corner, we need to ensure that there are proper bills being passed that can secure our elections. The GOP is making up excuses not to pass election security bills when we’re most vulnerable.
