We put some extra effort in trying to highlight initiatives by members of underrepresented groups in games, and those coming from emerging territories and non-English speaking countries — if you've talked with me in the past year, you've probably heard me complaining about this
Basically I just can't stand (and won't support) anymore articles, events, exhibitions etc. where everything's from the US, Canada, UK or Australia. Sometime's South Africa is also included because hey, they speak English too! 
Did I miss out some stuff? I surely did! Asia is clearly lacking, with only one entry from Japan... so please send suggestions my way, I'll update the post if I think they're a good fit.
