I thought they’d comply with the law, like any company should. They’re sitting on $11 billion cash. They’ve known this was coming at least since 4/18.

Is there a way to think outside the current box to come to an agreement? Many people use these safe/easy options and compromise needs to be on the table.

First, there are hardly any guarantees that they are safe. There are countless of examples to show otherwise because these companies don’t do extensive background checks. Two, we can’t compromise on minimum wage. Transit agencies can build an app that does what lyft and uber do. It wasn’t that long ago the transit systems were private businesses. Maybe this is evolution.
