Question of the Week: What is your current opinion on @BlizzHeroes Brawls? Are they something you still do, something you avoid, or something you've forgotten about? What would be your vision for what Brawls should be?

I haven’t been playing as much HotS, lately. So when I do, I’m usually trying to complete my dailies. So little attention paid to brawls. I preferred getting gold from instead of a chest.

I play brawl when it's an ARAM map. I might just do the weekly for the loot chest otherwise but the replay value of most brawl maps is non-existent imo.

I'd like to see Brawls take a new direction to a degree. Perhaps last for two weeks instead of one. Half the month, you have a fun brawl with wacky rules. The other half, perhaps a PvE mini-campaign that can help progress the story of the Raven Lord's crusade.

I think anything that encourages play that runs counter to playing the game properly does the community a disservice in the long run. I think people bringing QM and, to a lesser extent, Brawl tendencies into ranked modes has caused a lot of the frustrations one can feel. imho

This seems to assume most players play or aspire to play Ranked, but that may not be the case.
When I was designing Brawl the hope was that it'd be a fun mode for people to check out each week but not become their main mode. To be a fun warm up, or break from a losing streak. - Show replies

I do my chest quest then don't play at it, but still have fun when I play. The first epic zerg quest was a lot of fun. Maybe pve rank could be something? Keep going you are doing a great job on your game, (not only brawls) ;)
