Heard you loud & clear, broceratops. I don't disagree that some ppl might develop less repulsive beliefs about women if they were friends with women. But, it's not like these people live in true isolation. They're around women all the time, because that's how society works.

So saying "well they should be friends with women," while not blaming women, it places the burden on women to engage with people who are dangerous. No body needs that.
