  2. Even last year, in which Mitch was awful, he was bettable in spots against bottom-shelf defenses, averaging 21.1 FF Pts/Gm in nine starts in the same setting. Foles in the same spots has averaged 15.5 fantasy points per game in the same sample in games he's started.

  3. But the most important for FF as QB2 options, is that Trubisky has at least been bettable in a good spot for us, while Foles has... not. Here are Trubisky's splits versus bottom half pass defenses. The guy on the left is a playable fantasy option.

  4. It's close to "Slappers Only" but The Biscuit can at least run, while Foles is just an empty fantasy vessel. Foles has made 32 starts since his outlier 2013. He's been a QB1 in 9/32 of those starts (28%), QB16 or higher in 11/32 (34%) while averaging 12.0 FF Pts/Gm.

  5. I have to come clean on something... the amount of people who believe Nick Foles will be a better fantasy QB than Mitchell Trubisky was the past three years are insane. Glad I could finally say it.

  7. Not as much of a 1QB target, but I also am sweetening on Gardner Minshew as being undervalued in 2QB formats. His floor was so high as a rookie (only 2/12 starts lower than QB16) and only Cam is left on the board to thwart him as a veteran add now.

  20. We were really spoiled with two league winners though the past two seasons from the low QB1/high QB2 area of the draft. Counting on that happening for a third straight season was likely a lot to ask.

  21. Looking at Fantasy Pros initial rankings, Rodgers and Brady have the largest standard deviation among rankers as QB1 options. Baker, Burrow, Phil and Lock as the widest QB2 options.
