Xena: Warrior Princess was the only show that passed for LGBTQ+ content back when I was a teenager and my crush on Lucy Lawless was huge. I'm glad that she continues to be the bad ass warrior princess I grew up with and that she's still kicking Hercules's ass years later

I was addicted to those shows. Girl Power! I wanted to be like Xena or Gabrielle. Those fight scenes! Feel-good TV. Until the finale. But it was a noble ending! Ailalaalalalala!

Oh yeah, I was living for those later seasons because they were pretty much screaming it out loud lol. Even though the overarching plot got pretty convoluted towards the end, I did appreciate that they were trying to make the relationship more canon by that time.
