    Today, we had the honor of attending Lt. Andrea Hernandez’s Commissioning Ceremony. Marine Corps Lt. Hernandez epitomizes the best of our city. She is a graduate of McBride High & Long Beach State. We’re so proud of all she’s accomplished and all she’ll go on to do!

    It's the 31st anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act, we're so grateful for the amazing work of disability activists & advocates that helped to pass this landmark legislation have fought to make our country more inclusive and accessible to everyone.

    31 years ago, the was signed & changed the lives of Americans with disabilities everywhere. Though the disability community is still fighting hard for our rights & to live healthy, independent, fulfilling lives, we can't deny the progress made because of the ADA.
