So today @youtube has changed its requirements for people to become partnered. As a result MANY small channels are being demonetized and not promoted as much as before. When will @TeamYouTube stop this utter madness? They will kill their own platform at this rate

4000 hours viewing time across 12 months, which for many of us isn't an issue. However smaller/newer channels this can be tough on them big time. As we all know hitting that first 1k is huge but we also know a decent number of those 1k subs probably don't actively watch your vids
Yea this sucks I just hit 10k views like 2 wks and now I’m at 15k. But it’ll just push me to work harder. I officially started my channel early Nov, and so far I have 580ish hours viewed and I know it’ll only get better!
