A responsible motor fleet operator will observe the law and ensure their industrial traffic uses the safest routes for the benefit of the health and safety of the community. Narrow and bendy side roads are completely unsuitable for high volumes of heavy traffic.

Surely this transcends ‘minor parking infringement’ and moves into fraud or some such more serious offence? Police should use all CCTV resources to make high profile examples to try and deter this fashion.

Isn't it now up to £1000 fine? There was talk about 3 points late last year but I don't know if that made it in.
