It is not compassionate to let those struggling with severe mental health and substance abuse issues die on our streets. SB1045 is a critical tool we need to address our homelessness and mental health crises. The conservatorship bill is the opposite of what you’re trying to say it is. It’s to help people get treatment who are too sick or unwilling to take that first step on their own. We can’t let people be so ill and do nothing.

How's this compare to assembly bill 1971? It also expands and clarifies conservatorship criteria. That was supported by LA County supes, btw. Maybe you should have followed their lead.
