Fast action is 100% necessary, but we need to think hard about how to keep surface-level light rail moving quickly while not sacrificing safety. Interim measures including bulb-outs, rapid-flashing pedestrian beacons, and others need to be considered along with traffic control.
Couln't agree more. @EdReiskin can we get a stop sign at 8th Ave & Irving St ASAP? This is an extremly dangerous intersection!
