The City is sitting on hundreds of affordable, potentially rent-controlled Accessory Dwelling Units (aka in-laws). What's the hold up? We need to get these units on the market and we need them now. Hi London, I would like to know what you think or if you have any plans regarding people who are being evicted and don’t have any legal support ? Also, regarding our sanctuary city? Are there any plans to protect the immigrants community?
Hi Kat, I recently introduced legislation to provide a right to civil council for tenants facing eviction, because no one should face eviction alone. When I was Acting Mayor, I said I was willing to go to jail to stand up for our sanctuary policy against Trump. I'd do so again.
