  I work on Mission, between 5th and 6th, and we see so so many in need of help. We've tried calling to help those who are particularly in need (mental health, drugs on the street), but no one seems to answer or come to their aid. What are you doing for these people in need?

  It’s amazing to me how many homeless people are just laying on the floor each night on the east end of the Powell BART/Muni station. We can do so much better than that.

  The cycle of homelessness must be managed to interrupt and reduce its incidence - it will not be ended so long as our society/capitalist system produces winners and losers-as it always has. Lincoln was reputed to have said “God must love poor people-he made so many of them.”
