As @GavinNewsom said today, COVID-19 doesn't take July 4th off. Cases & hospitalizations have gone up. Avoid crowds. Don't gather with people you don't live with this weekend. When you're out, wear a mask. Let's not risk losing all the progress we've made.

You know when you’d be better off letting your phone charge to 100% but instead you keep picking it up when it’s at like 10% so you have to keep putting it back on the charger? That’s how we’re managing this pandemic in the US—except we’re doing it with peoples’ lives at stake.

But if there is a protest then all that doesn’t matter and people can gather with no issues correct. Because beaches and bars are the only dangerous places.

Hospital numbers have stayed the same 3400 positive tests does not mean 3400 are in hospitals, be honest with the public, there is no hospital over crowding

When will testing be more available? I am an essential worker living with two other essential workers and I looked to schedule test and the earliest is next Thursday. On top of that they only have appointments available on Thursdays/Fridays going forward.

Is the increase in cases possibly correlated to the weekend SF opened outdoor dining?

Let's address salons and other businesses that were planning on opening their doors for business on June 29th. Thank you!
