Our reopening process is guided by data and science. COVID-19 cases are rising throughout CA. We're now seeing a rise in cases in SF too. Our numbers are still low but rising rapidly. As a result, we're temporarily delaying the re-openings that were scheduled for Monday.

Our public health experts will evaluate the data over the coming days to determine if it's safe to move forward. I know people are anxious to reopen--I am too. But we can't jeopardize the progress we've made. We'll continue to let you know as soon as decisions are made.

Where is testing on demand in the neighborhood health centers? Where is contact tracing? Where are we going to quarantine the infected so that they don't infect their households?

Low paid retail workers can't just "get tested". Hospitals refuse to test unless you're actively showing symptoms. I tried repeatedly to get tested and was told I didn't need to, even though I am daily exposed to the public--often ppl who will not wear masks or social distance.

@LondonBreed has like One Thing to do, scaling up testing on demand, and she can't even get that done. That alone should be a failing worthy of a recall.

I wish. Sadly we have no idea which test sites as communication accessiblity? We cannot just show and take the test as we are not aware of any procedure.

My family and I got tested at
@CCSF six days ago and still without results.@OPTUM@Optum_Support@QuestDX@LogisticsHealth tests are pretty useless if the turnaround is this long. Backlog? Color at Embarcadero can apparently do this is 24 hours most of the time.Thanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo

Got tested last week with my two kids. CCSF site. The LHI company lies about test results. Said 48-72 hours. I waited six days. RESULTS LOST. They want is to retest. This company is a JOKE and should not have a contract COVID testing in SF. Furious.
